How to: Create a shadowed box in a form.
Solution:
In the Form Design view, click 'Special Effects' on the 'Formatting' toolbar, and click the shadow box button.
1) If the Database window is not active, activate the Database window.
2) Click the 'Forms' tab in the Database window.

3) Select the desired form from the list box. (The selected form is highlighted.)
4) Click 'Design'. (The selected form appears in the Design view and the floating Toolbox appears.)
5) Click to select the control to edit. (Handles appear around the box.)

6) Click down arrow to the right of the 'Special Effect' on the 'Formatting' toolbar. (A preview of the six special effects appears.)

7) Click 'Shadow'. (The button appears depressed and the control object has a shadow box.

8) (Optional) To adjust the thickness of the shadowed box:
a) Click down arrow to the right of the 'Border Width' on the 'Formatting' toolbar. (A preview of the border widths appears.)

b) Click desired border width. (The selected button appears depressed, and the control object now shows the desired effect.)

NOTE: Additional 'Special Effects' to add to a control are raised, sunken, etched, chiseled and flat.
